The SIM Micro - Series signal conditioning & isolating modules are compact DIN rail mountable modules which enhance the Channel packing density per unit length of the mounting rail. For e.g. 16 signal modules can be stacked on a 500 mm rail length. These modules are thus suitable for use in process control & instrumentation panels where a large number of signal modules are required and space is limited.

 
 
     
 

The Micro - Series range comprises of compact Signal modules. The signal modules are available in single, dual channel and Signal Splitter types. A variety of input modules are available which accept analog DC Voltage, DC Current, RTD, Thermocouple signals from field sensors or transmitters. Modules with universal input & output signal ranges are also available. The input signal is filtered, isolated, converted, amplified & in some cases split into multiple outputs. Thus enabling field devised to interface directly with indicators, controllers, recorders, DCS and PLC systems used extensively in manufacturing and process industries. This eliminates faulty reading in process measurement and control equipment caused by ground loops, noise due to inductive load switching, and other unpredictable electrical disturbances.

 
     
 

Various inoput/output combinations are possible besides the standard types given in this data sheet. The units operate on a wide auxiliary power supply span of 18 -36 V DC. An LED on the module front facia indicates the status of the power supply. It shall glow if the Power supply is health. Standard units are available in compact 35mm DIN rail mounted enclosures.
