The Load Cell Amplifier is a precision amplifier for
conditioning the milivolt output from a Lad Cell so
that it can be given as an input to the microprocessor
based Interface Unit. Alternatively the output can also
be given to the analog input module of a PLC or DCS
system in the form of standard 0 - 10V voltage signal
or 4 - 20mA current loop signal. In addition, the unit
has a built in 10 Volts precision reference generator,
which is used for excitation of the Load Cell. These
amplifier units are extremely stable and accurate for
long term measurement applications and can also be calibrated
to suit the Load Cell response characteristics so that
maximum sensitivity is available in the measurement
range.
