The Remote Digital I/O system can be configured completely through Software without the use of jumper or DIP switch settings. This together with the incorporation of the industry standard open fieldbus system PROFIBUS-DP facilitates quick set-up & integration with the main control system.

The Remote Digital I/O modules are housed in an ABS plastic enclosure with integrated 2.5mm sq terminal blocks for direct field cable termination. The module can be mounted on a 35 mm standard DIN rail . The basic digital I/O module can handle 12 channels of Digital inputs rated for 24VDC and 8 channels of Digital outputs rated at 24VDC, 0.2A . In addition it has an expansion port for local expansion of the remote I/O system . Upto nos. of digital I/O modules can be connected on a single Remote I/O
